Skipping meals especially if you are not hungry is a very healthy way to intermittently fast. It might not seem like real fasting to you but it is one fantastic approach you can take to a healthier living.

Spontaneous Meal Skipping is a process of listening to your body. It says, if your body doesn't tell you it's hungry, then don't eat. The idea of spontaneous meal skipping is to follow your body's nudging. It promotes the idea that rather than pumping your body with food unnecessarily, even when you're not hungry, you should probably let your body rest for a while.

The idea of a 3 meals a day is totally a new thing and a Western thing. Our ancestors had no choice than to do spontaneous meal skipping. Condition not choice led them to do it though.
In the 21st century right now, because food is so widely available, most people cringe at the idea of skipping a few meals. You won't faint, neither will you die if you skip a meal or two in fact, it is super healthy for you!

How to skip a meal.

It's not a bad thing to skip a meal. All you do is decide to not eat any thing for breakfast and then eat healthy wholemade for lunch and dinner. It's not compulsory that it is breakfast you skip.

You can skip lunch while eating breakfast and dinner or you can skip dinner while eating breakfast and lunch. Just skip a meal or two out of the normal 3 meals you eat in a day normally.
